The 86th annual Academy Awards are happening Sunday, March 2, 2104. This is an annual celebration honoring achievements in the film industry.
The awards were first presented in 1929. Today, Hollywood, producers, directors, actors, costume design, etc. are honored with “Ocsar”.
If you want to research some of the Italian Americans who have won the awards in the past; just stroll down India Street in Little Italy. The street is decorated with banners showing the famous Italian Oscar winners.
