|Remix! Rethink! Recycle! Ravenswood Remix, benefiting local school art programs, is Chicago’s first recycled art festival. By taking used or recycled goods and creating original art, clothing, household items, jewelry, paper objects, collectibles and other crafts, artists are changing the way communities think about the value of recyclables.
WHEN: September 1-2. 2012
WHERE: Ravenswood Neighborhood of Chicago
The festival attempts to “ignite the community’s interest in recycled materials, local education and promote the local and green movements as a whole, while raising funds for local school art programs.”
|Callin all Artists, recyclers, and green promoters: if you have an eco-friendly idea or art workshop to share with the community, Ravenswood Remix offers a free platform for you to educate the community on ways to remix, rethink and recycle.
