FEST: Chinatown Summer Fair
July 15, 2018
2200 S. Wentworth Ave. (at Cermak Rd.)
Chicago, IL 60616
This popular annual celebration of Far East culture returns for its 40th festive year. Highlights include the Dragon & Lion Dance Procession, artisans, plenty of neighborhood cuisine, activities for families and children, and more.
SCENE: This annual one-day event effortlessly blends ancient and modern as the Far East meets the Midwest. Authentic regional and traditional Chinese food, music and performance mix with more Americanized offerings—including a mobile petting zoo for kids and a “cutest baby” contest.
Take a trip to China without leaving Chicago historic Chinatown neighborhood.
Spend the day on South Wentworth Street for a plethora of activities as you savor the local Chinese flavors.
