Animal Encounters and Behind the Scenes Adventures at The Houston Zoo in Texas

I love the Houston Zoo! It’s a 55-acre Zoo in Hermann Park. The zoo houses over 6,000 animals from 900 species. It receives 2.1 million visitors each year and is the second most visited zoo in the United States.

Get up close with some of your favorite Houston Zoo residents by booking Exclusive experiences. They come in two varieties; choose from Animal Encounters, with a focus on interacting with amazing animals, and Behind the Scenes Experiences, journeying to staff only areas of the Zoo along with the keepers who care for Zoo animals.

By participating in a Houston Zoo Animal Encounter, you help save animals in the wild!
