Listen to Jazz at the Shedd Aquarium

Live jazz lives at Shedd every Wednesday night this summer! Jazzin’ at the Shedd is back with a festival-worthy lineup of three of Chicago’s top jazz ensembles each week. As the sun goes down and the music heats up, relax with a drink on our breezy terrace. You’ll get a great view of the Navy Pier Fireworks too!!

I’m going on Wednesday,  August 21 to listen to:

Rio Bamba

Phil Seed Trio

Alyssa Allgood

Hear musicians and vocalists, see views from the terrace, buy cocktails & food, and visit the aquarium at Jazzin’ at the Shedd at Shedd Aquarium.

Shedd Aquarium opened on May 30, 1930. The aquarium contains 1500 species including fish, marine mammals, birds, snakes, amphibians, and insects.

Eels, and sharks and whales, OH MY!
The Shedd Aquarium and Oceanarium is “the World’s Aquarium”. From Anacondas in the Amazon, to a green turtle in the Caribbean Reef the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago has it all.
Visit the sharks in the Wild Reef, learn about the Great Lakes, including our own Lake Michigan, in Waters of the World. Witness the dramatic annual rise and fall of the Amazon waters in Amazon Rising. Or watch as a diver feeds the animals while talking with guests in the Shedd’s famous Caribbean Reef.

It is surrounded by Museum Campus Chicago, which it shares with the Adler Planetarium and the Field Museum of Natural History.
