Movies in the Parks

On August 20th, I’m going to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding at Millenium Park

August 20: My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Movie starts at 6:30 p.m.
Programmed in collaboration with Victory Gardens Theater

Everyone in the Portokalos family worries about Toula – a single thirty-year-old living with her parents in a Chicago Greek community. When she falls in love with a tall, handsome but non-Greek man, she struggles to get her family to accept him and come to terms with her cultural heritage. The funny cast includes writer and producer Nia Vardalos, John Corbett, Lainie Kazan, Andrea Martin, and Michael Constantine. (2002, rated PG, 96 minutes)

One of my favorite lines in the movie is “He don’t eat meat, I’ll make him lamb”
