Ukrainian Village is a Chicago neighborhood located on the near west side of Chicago. Its boundaries are Division Street to the north, Chicago Avenue to the south, Western Avenue to the west, and Damen Avenue to the east.
There are many Ukrainian parishes including the Byzantine-Slavonic style of St. Nicholas Cathedral. Built between November 1913 and January 1915, St. Nicholas is in the heart of the Ukrainian neighborhood south of Wicker Park and along Chicago Avenue.

Ukrainian Village Fest offers folk dance, music, food (potato pancakes, borsch, pierogies, kabos, blintzes), beer, wine, and a kids’ area at Superior St. & Oakley.
Make plans to attend the historic Ukrainian Village neighborhood festival 2015 with live music, costumed folk dance ensembles, a beer garden offering imported and domestic beer and ethnic arts & crafts.

Held in the historical Ukrainian Village neighborhood the street festival was created with the concept of offering a world-class celebration for the Chicago community.
This unique, European style fest features live music, costumed dance ensembles, restaurants offering traditional and continental cuisine, imported and domestic beer and a special kids area.

Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic will again host annual “Ukrainian Village Fest” on
the parish grounds featuring the “Hromovytsia” dance ensemble,
with their “Blyskavytsia” School of Ukrainian Ballet and other local dance
groups. Sample local ethnic cuisine.
