Tonight, plan to be transported to the South of France at the grand opening of Nellcote at 833 W. Randolf in Chicago. Doors open for dinner at 4:30 p.m.
The Chicago Nellcôte is named after the Villa Nellcôte. The actual 19th century sixteen-room mansion is located on the waterfront of Villefranche-sur-Mer in the Côte d’Azur region of southern France.
Nellcôte was leased during the summer of 1971 by Keith Richards, guitarist for The Rolling Stones. Recording sessions for their classic 1972 Exile on Main St. album took place in the villa’s basement.
Chef Jared Van Camp will be preparing “Veal Sweetbreads”!!
