Julmarknad is the Museum’s annual Christmas Bazaar, where traditional Scandinavian and modern handicrafts will be available for purchase.
You can shop for your favorite Swedish and non-Swedish holiday gifts and more in the Museum main floor gallery.
Visit the Children’s Museum for crafts, games, and a special visit from Santa! It’s entertainment for the whole family and includes a kaffestuga, Lucia processions, and folk dancers ($2 suggested admissions donation.)
Santa will be at Julmarknad on both days at two different times–starting at 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. We will also have Lucia performances on both days–starting on Saturday, Dec. 3 with Nordic
Voices from 1:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.; and continuing on Sunday, Dec. 4 with Svenska Skolan from 12:30 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.
The Museum Store will have special hours for Julmarknad.
It will remain open on Saturday, Dec. 3 until 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4 until 5 p.m.
