Put on your favorite mask or Halloween costume and attend the Green City Market Junior Board’s Masquerade del Mercado on October 30, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. The charity event will be held at Carnivale located at 702 w. Fulton Market in Chicago.
Notable Chicago chefs like Tony Galzin of MK and Old Town Social’s Jared Van Camp will prepare their favorite market-inspired cuisine. Some of the other chefs that are participating in the event include: David Dworshak of Carnivale, Greg Biggers of Cafe des Architectes, Jason Vincent of Nightwood and Jeffrey Hedin of Leopold.
There will be a DJ spinning tunes and plenty of decadent desserts. Goose Island Brewery and Tenzing Wines will quench your thirst along with cocktails from The Gage.
You will have an opportunity to bid on dinner packages, theater tickets and other interesting items. Proceeds from this fundraiser support Green City Market’s educational programming.
