Chicago’s North Park Art Walk 2011: Chicago Artists Month

 The 2nd annual North Park Art Walk is part of Chicago Artists Month 2011. Chicago’s sixteenth annual celebration of the visual art community is presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Meet hundreds of Chicago visual artists at exhibitions, workshops, open studios and neighborhood art walks throughout the city. The North Park Art Walk 2011 will take place on October 8th and 9th. Local galleries will display and sell new pieces from 40 invited local professional artists. You can view the work of artists that embody a broad range of talent. There are paintings, mosaics, bronze and terra-cotta pieces inspired by Old Masters.


  There will be art work from Northeastern Illinois University, North Park University, Chicago Korean-American Art Association, Chicago Mosaic School, Loyola Academy, St. Hilary Elementary School and local residents.
