Sunday, October 9th, marks the start of the first Chicago Ideas Week. This week-long event is an intellectual Mashup organized by Groupon co-founder Brad Keywell. The event will connect “thinkers and doers”; with a series of presentations at various locations in and around Chicago.
Among the 100 scheduled speakers are President Bill Clinton, TIME magazine managing editor Richard Stengel and Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.
Former President Bill Clinton will headline the seven-day, citywide series of talks, performances and networking events at the Chase Auditorium on October 11th at 10:00 am. There will be a “Mayoral Evening” event at the Oriental Theater on October 10th at 6:00 pm featuring Mayor Emanuel. On October 13th, leading experts are “Re-Imagining the Future Economy” at the Museum of Contemporary Art at 9:00 am
