Great Chefs Tasting Party 2012 in Chicago

Plan to attend the Great Chefs Tasting Party 2012 in Chicago, a benefit for United Cerebral Palsy. Fifty chefs from Chicago’s will be featured including Jared Van Camp, executive chef of Nellcôte.

Enjoy tastings of signature dishes from Chicago’s star chefs. There will be a live auction and a cook-off between Jared Van Camp of Nellcôte and Chris Pandel of The Bristol for the VIP guests.

WHEN:  Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from  5 p.m.–9 p.m.

WHERE: Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers  -301 East North Water Street, Chicago, IL

Tickets:

  • VIP — $500 per person, $5,000 per table of 10 Ringside seats for the cook-off between headliner Jared Van Camp of Nellcôte and Chris Pandel of The Bristol plus champagne pairings hosted by sommelier Jason Wagner of the new RM Champagne Salon Preferred seating for tastings, bottle service at the table and open bar
  • Reserved Seating — $175 per person Unlimited chef offerings and open bar
  • General Admission — $125 per person Unlimited chef offerings and open bar

All but $20 of the ticket price is tax-deductible. Proceeds benefit the children and adults served by United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago.

Attend the 27th Annual Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival 2012

WHEN: Saturday, March 10, 2012 (12 – 3:00 p.m.)

WHERE: Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn

COST: $45 per person; Admission includes a souvenir wine glass and access to all of the free tastings from the domestic and international wineries, vineyards and wine distributors.

 

Hilton Head Island is about 20 miles north of Savannah, Georgia and about 95 miles south of Charleston. The Festival provides wine lovers and gourmet foodies alike, an opportunity to sample outstanding domestic and international wines and some of the Lowcountry‘s best cuisine. The The Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival and Silent Auction will be held from 12 – 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. The Wine & Food Festival’s Silent Auctions benefit educational opportunities for students in the Hospitality programs at the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the Technical College of the Lowcountry though the John T. and Valerie Curry scholarship fund.

The 27th Annual Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival attracts wine enthusiasts from all over the country and wineries from all over the world.  This event is one of the largest outdoor, Internationally Judged Wine events on the East Coast. The Judges are all accredited either through the Society of Wine Educators or by the Court of Master Sommeliers.

The Annual Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival brings together wine, spirits and food lovers for a six-days of events. The Great Chefs of the South Wine Dinners took take place at various restaurants and locations on Hilton Head Island, between Monday March 5th and Friday, March 9th, 2012, The Wine & Food Festival Auction offered visitors an opportunity to bid on impressive lots of wine and is the most extensive wine auction on Hilton Head Island. The event was held on Friday, March 9th, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Sea Pines Resort, Harbour Town Conference Center.
