The 65th-annual Maine Lobster Festival serves nearly 20,000 pounds of lobster! There are cooking contests that include recipes for lobster curry, mac ‘n’ cheese and lobster étouffée. Each year, the parade of the newly crowned Sea Goddess and Sea Princesses alongside King Neptune and his court entertains the attendees.

Wednesday, the first day of the Maine Lobster Festival opening at noon and closing at 10pm, admission is reduced to $5 for adults, $2 for children (ages 6 to 12 yrs). This is new for the 2012 festival. Our no admission day has been moved to Sunday. Thursday through Saturday admission is $8 for adults, $2 for children (ages 6 to 12 yrs). Children age 5 and under are no cost.
Sunday, our “Hometown Day” is our NEW Family Fun Day and there is no admission for all ages.
Traditionally the festival sells a 4-day pass which allows a patron to visit the festival for 4 days at a discounted price. This year we have enhanced the 4-day pass into a 4-pack of 1-day tickets. Now one patron could visit the festival 4 days at a discounted price OR 4 individuals can visit the festival on 1 day at a discounted price. The price for the 4-pack of tickets is $25 for adults (versus $29) and $8 for children ages 6 to 12, 5 and under is no charge. These passes are available for sale at the Main Gate on Wednesday and Thursday of the Festival and online.
