Attend the 14th Annual Chicago Folk and Music Fest 2012 in Chicago sponsored bythe Old Town School of Folk Music. Music lovers converge on Welles Park to listen to: folk, jazz, hip hop, Bluegrass, African, Blues, Honky Tonk, Latin and Rock music.
The event kicks off on Saturday at noon with the Midwest Fiddle Championships on the Mainstage. The Dance Tent offers a steady stream of participatory dance lessons and workshops from Cajun to West African Dance, Tango to Zumba, Brazilian to Hip Hop. The Staff Stage features live music from various genres performed by the talented staff members, faculty and students of the Old Town School of Folk Music.
