The editors of Epicurious and Chicago’s top chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists invite you to attend the inaugural “Epicurious Entertains Chicago.” This event will be held at the Chicago Illuminating Company.

What are you doing for Cinco de Mayo? You can get tickets for Dinner with Top Chefs on Saturday May 5th at 6:30. Art Smith of Table Fifty-Two, Dale Levitski of Sprout, and Mindy Segal of Hot Chocolate, along with Epicurious’ Tanya Steel, invite you to join them for this very special evening. Come meet three of Chicago’s culinary superstars at our exclusive sit-down three-course dinner inside the spectacular Chicago Illuminating Company. Dinner includes cocktails, hors d’Oeuvres, and wine. Here’s the menu:

Art Smith’s First Course Spring Pea Puree Garnished with Poached Lobster, Smoked Cumin Salt, Mint and a Pea Tendril Salad

Dale Levitski’s Entrée Kobe and Caviar with Fennel Potato Kugels and Dill Baby Beets

Mindy Segal’s Dessert Zingerman’s Cream Cheese and Creme Fraiche “Cheesecake” with Anisse Hyssup, Rhubarb and 5 Minute Strawberries

You can also attend BBQ, Brews & Ball on Sunday, May 6th from 12:00pm–5:00pm Cost: $35 (includes donation to Greater Chicago Food Depository)

Watch Sunday’s live baseball games: the Cubs against the Dodgers and the White Sox versus the Tigers. Feast on a buffet of barbecue and Southern favorites from Lillie’s Q, including ribs, pulled pork, mac n’ cheese and pulled chicken with beer and cocktails. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Chicago Food Depository.
